Refining Some Recently Purchased Old Pines

Recently purchased from the Ian Hearn collection these old 'mikawa' Black Pines are a rare find these days.

It is an absolute pleasure, and responsibility, to work on such old pines like the ones pictured here.  

The Ian Hearn collection is up for sale.  Many fine bonsai have been sold but many more are 'up for grabs'.
